Patio Doors Dublin

Patio doors connect a large glazed opening, moving hardware, weather seals, thresholds and the surrounding façade. Doors Dublin can plan replacement, fitting, finish and frame work as one opening rather than treating the door as an isolated panel.

Systems

Sliding, hinged and double patio doors

The right system depends on opening width, floor level, drainage, traffic path, glass weight and how much clear opening the room needs. Sliding systems depend on track and roller condition; hinged systems depend on frame geometry, hinges and locking alignment.

Aluminium

Aluminium patio doors can use durable factory finishes such as powder coating or anodising; refinishing an existing frame requires a compatible preparation and coating route.

uPVC

uPVC patio systems need substrate-compatible coatings if colour is changed. They are not placed in a powder-coating oven.

Timber

Timber patio doors can use opaque paint or clear/oiled systems, with edge sealing and moisture control considered.

Glass

Large glazed units affect weight, safety, privacy, solar performance and hardware load.

Colour

Colour can be coordinated with the whole elevation

A patio-door colour project should consider the outer frame, opening sections, beads, seals, handles and adjacent windows. The best route may be factory colour on a new system, specialist on-site refinishing, or replacement where the old system is mechanically worn.

Doors Dublin chooses the finishing route from the actual frame material and existing coating. Metal, uPVC and timber require different processes.
Installation

Thresholds, drainage and final alignment

The opening needs correct support, level, drainage strategy and perimeter sealing. A visually attractive patio door can still perform badly if the frame is twisted or the threshold and drainage are wrong. Final adjustment and operation testing are part of the installation route.
